The flax yarn production always played a decisive role in the urban life since 1904 in Komárom. At the end of this activity manegement set 4 milestones:

  1. run out the semi-finished products

  2. redundancy payment for employees in full

  3. supporting customers, especially strategic partners

  4. recultivation of territory

In order to fullfill all obligations and perform redundancy payment in 100 % for employees without delay a full copperation was required in the company.

All workers of Hungaro-Len Ltd., operators, mechanics, administration and managers had to deliver a quality performance during the closure periode.

The management has planned a responsable schedule for stopping production.

The plant and shift managers were prepared for the challenge of crisis management,  special training series were organized for them.

All managers and staff were kept informed about the current status and expected situation.

Different communication channels for crisis situation were built up including empleyee forums and host days.

With the help of volunteer experts and in cooperation with Employment Office our employees were prepared for change in their life  and supported in finding a new job.

The employers of the region were continuously given the opportunity to organize recruitment interviews for our employees.
